Our Spring auditions did well, adding 6 new members and 3 previous members who returned from a hiatus! This is where you want to be if you sing well and enjoy the unique camaraderie of a women's chorus. Check out the Concerts page on this website to see what great things we are singing at our Christmas concert this year!

Our next auditions will be for the Fall season on August 10th & 17th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. They will be held at the upstairs rehearsal room of the Old Town Temecula Community Theater, located between Main Street and Fourth Street in Old Town. Take Front Street to Fourth, turn right, park in back of the theater, and go up the stairs to the rehearsal room. To reserve a slot or if more information is needed, please call Joan at 926-4100.

KEY DATES:
August 24 - First Meeting
November 23 - Concert run-through in Theater
November 30 - Concert run-through in rehearsal room
December 4 - Concert (evening)
December 5 - Concert (matinee)

WHAT WE NEED: If you can carry a tune, have good control of your voice, have a good blending voice quality, have a love of choral music, and are willing to dedicate your time to an established quality chorus, we are looking for you! Candidates will be expected to sing Happy Birthday, starting on middle C, to demonstrate full control of mix and head voice.

The chorus, founded in 2000, sings a varied repertoire, including classical, spiritual, folk, jazz, musical theater, and old standards, and has an immense amount of fun at the same time. Chorus members grow in interpretive skills, vocal quality, and sight-singing ability, while experiencing the joy of good choral singing. Choral experience and the ability to read music is desirable, but not required. The time, ability and desire to work hard both inside and outside of rehearsal to produce a wonderful result is absolutely necessary! This may include attendance at weekly sectional rehearsals in addition to the regular Tuesday night rehearsals.

The chorus meets for rehearsal every Tuesday night from 7:00 - 9:45 pm in the upstairs rehearsal room at the theater.
